Dr. Mashal Khan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine-NewYork Presbyterian Hospital. He attended the School of Medicine at Xi'an Jiaotong University and trained at Maimonides Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency training, he completed a Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is board-certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Khan works along with the Liver transplant team and focuses on improving outcomes for individuals with alcohol use disorder and related liver disease. He also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine.
