Jeffrey DeVido, MD, MTS, FASAM, FAPA is board certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine and works in Northern California. Upon completion of residency and fellowship training at Massachusetts General and McLean Hospitals/Partners Healthcare, he attended on the psychiatric consultation-liaison service at UCSF, Parnassus Campus for 3 years. For the past 7 years, Dr. DeVido has been Chief of Addiction Services with Marin County, CA, Department of Health and Human Services and Behavioral Health Clinical Director with Partnership HealthPlan of CA, while maintaining a volunteer faculty appointment at UCSF. In his roles with Marin County and Partnership HealthPlan, he is involved in managing the development of substance use and co-occurring services for Medicaid beneficiaries in 24 counties between the Oregon border and San Francisco. Dr. DeVido is also the primary editor of the soon-to-be-published 3rd Edition of the APA's Clinical Manual of Addiction Psychopharmacology. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, chasing around his 3 kids, watercolor painting, Philadelphia sports, and Star Trek.
